Leeds has its own airport Leeds-Bradford Airport (LBA), which lies about 7mi/ 10km from the city centre. On its website you can check if you can get a direct flight from your country to Leeds. (Budget) airlines that fly on LBA are for instance Jet2.com and RyanAir.

Take bus number 757 from the airport to town, or arrange to share a taxi. If you let us know when you’ll be arriving, we can book you a cheaper taxi than the one at the airport. If you’re taking the bus and will be staying on Woodsley Rd, take bus number 56 to Moor Grange from the bus station (bus stop: Eastgate) to the ‘Business School’ (bus stop: Queen’s Rd). From there it’s a couple of minutes to the guesthouses: walk back to the corner; turn right at the corner; and right again at the next corner. This is Woodsley Rd.

For further information on how to get from town to campus, please refer to the Wikitravel Leeds page. University of Leeds also has some useful information for walking to campus.

Hope this helps. We’d be happy to help with any individual questions.

Hey Marianne, the costs for travelling up North vary between £1-£100. The cheapest is with Megabus, megabus.com, from London Victoria to Leeds bus station. This is a 4h30 bus ride of about £7 one way.

Hope this helps. Will you let us know when you are planning on arriving? Cheers. *
